Our PROGRAMMES

Practical Programmes for Nation-Building

Pillar 1: Education

Education remains the most powerful tool for social transformation. We bridge the generational gap by equipping modern learners with both foundational and future-proof skills.

  • Academic Support & Tutoring: After-school assistance and career guidance programmes for learners.

  • Soweto Matriculant Awards: Annual recognition and awards for the best-performing matriculants in Soweto schools.

  • Literacy & 4IR Training: Running targeted reading campaigns alongside Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) digital skills training.

  • Scholarship Advocacy: Campaigning for bursaries and pathways to higher education.

Pillar 2: Heritage Preservation

We actively document the rich contributions of student activists to South Africa's liberation struggle so that history is told accurately and completely.

  • Oral History & Publications: Gathering testimonies, book writing, and publishing authentic liberation history.

  • Exhibitions & Archives: Preserving physical and digital historical archives, running school heritage education programmes.

  • Remembrance Projects: Organising memorial lectures, commemorative events, and heritage tourism initiatives.

Pillar 3: Socio-Economic Empowerment

We promote sustainable livelihoods to ensure our members, unemployed youth, and vulnerable groups can fully participate in the economy.

  • Agricultural Projects: Community-led food security and sustainable farming initiatives.

  • Entrepreneurship & Co-ops: Small business incubation, cooperative development, and access to funding/market opportunities.

  • Skills Development: Vocational training and targeted youth employment initiatives.
