Guided by History, Driven by Purpose

The leadership of the Each One Teach One Foundation (EOTOF) is forged from a shared history of courage, resilience, and an unwavering belief in the power of education. Our Board of Directors is composed of former student activists and leaders from the Congress of South African Students (COSAS) who stood on the front lines of the liberation struggle from 1979 until 1990.

We do not just lead this foundation; we lived its mission. Having fought for freedom, justice, and quality education in our youth, we have transitioned those lifelong values into an accountable governance model built directly from the grassroots up.

To ensure every voice is heard, our leadership structure is completely democratic. Each of our eight distinct Soweto Chapters elects a representative to serve on the Board of Directors. This ensures that our strategic direction, financial stewardship, and community programmes remain deeply rooted in, and directly accountable to, the people we serve.

Together with our strategic partners, professionals, and the next generation of visionary leaders, we are dedicated to transforming our collective wisdom into sustainable nation-building
